Originally from California and now proudly rooted in Wills Point, Texas, Kayla’s story is one of growth, grit, and genuine purpose. A devoted wife to her husband, Javi, and mom to five incredible kids, Kayla knows firsthand the challenges of balancing family, business, and dreams. In 2024, Kayla officially launched Taxes with Kayla after earning her PTIN and completing extensive training under the mentorship of industry leader Brittany Triller. With Brittany’s guidance and her own determination, Kayla quickly established herself as a trusted name in East Texas—offering more than just tax filing. She built a business that empowers others, from hardworking parents to small business owners, to take control of their finances and understand the “why” behind their numbers.

Now a certified Electronic Return Originator (ERO), Kayla oversees the secure e-filing and submission of federal and state tax returns, ensuring every client’s return is handled with the highest level of accuracy, compliance, and care. Through Taxes with Kayla, she provides personalized, year-round services including tax preparation, bookkeeping, and audit protection—always focused on accuracy, transparency, and client education. Kayla believes that every return tells a story, and every client deserves more than just a quick appointment—they deserve peace of mind.

Her mission extends beyond taxes. She’s passionate about helping other moms find flexible, purpose-driven careers, mentoring new tax professionals through the Turquoise Tax Pros team, and giving back to causes close to her heart—especially local animal rescues and community programs that support families.
